Agora is a peer-reviewed magazine that publishes essays from all disciplines by postgraduates at Trinity College Dublin, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary work. Its name derives from the ancient Greek agora, a public space where people from diverse backgrounds gathered to exchange knowledge and ideas. Founded in 2026, the magazine aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange within Trinity’s postgraduate community and provide students with valuable insight into academic publishing and editorial practice.

All submissions to Agora undergo a double-blind peer review process. Essays are evaluated by both specialist and non-specialist readers from our editorial team, and subsequently selected for revision and publication.

Agora is currently Trinity’s only postgraduate publication. It is a constituent of Trinity Publications.
